I’d like to see a single player campaign added at some point. Additionally, a fourth, unnamed, pack is due “early 2017.”
Summer will see the release of a Bespin pack, giving fans the chance to destroy the Cloud City visited in 1980’s The Empire Strikes Back, with Autumn bringing what might be the most exciting update to date: a Death Star pack. Then just wait to you hear what is coming up for those that signed up for all the DLC packs.Īccording to the game’s senior producer, DICE’s Sigurlina Ingvarsdottir on the game’s official blog Tuesday, four digital expansions packs are planned for the next twelve months, starting with an Outer Rim pack in March, which will add Jabba’s Palace and the factories of Sullust (as seen on animated spin-off Star Wars: The Clone Wars) to the number of locations playable as either Rebel or Imperial forces in the game. All of these are available to everyone who has the game as FREE downloads. The new content includes a multiplayer map on Tatooine, new Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo and the introduction of Daily Challenges.
Yesterday marked the release of some new free added levels and such for ‘Star Wars: Battlefront, which I will hopefully find time to check out over weekend.
